What's on your mind? Get behind the scenes to support our vibrant kayaking community. New and old members are welcome to speak up at our monthly BASK Planning Meetings, which are held on the second Wednesday of each month 7-9 pm (generally less than 2 hours) on Zoom. (Note: the August Planning Meeting will be held on the third Wednesday, August 20th). Listen in to see what BASK can offer you. Join one of our ad hoc committees, such as Safety and Education, Speaker Seeker, or New Initiatives, to help design activities, learn about our signature events like the Skills Clinic and Mendo Madness, and tell us what's on your mind.

Submit an agenda item to VP Evelyn Lee via email. Please note that submissions requested after Monday, July 7th at 2 pm may not make it to the planning meeting, or if we have a full agenda, items may need to wait for the next meeting.

How to Join a Zoom Planning Meeting
- Zoom info will be posted on the BASK Calendar on the day of the meeting.
- Zoom info will NOT be on Currents.
- Zoom info will NOT be on the BASK website except in the calendar.
- Please do not share Zoom information on social media.
You must confirm that you have access to the BASK calendar prior to the meeting. Please do not wait until the last minute to do this. We may not have the resources to assist you at the last minute.
If you have trouble logging in to Zoom, this sometimes happens; please be patient. We will post updated information to the BASK calendar.

Zoom Name
Please make your Zoom "Display Name" your real name--including your last name, as it is listed in the BASK directory. Here is information on how to do that: https://tinyurl.com/9t75an5c.
If your Zoom display name is "I am a ZoomBomber" and we cannot easily verify that you are a legitimate BASK member, we may kick you out of the meeting.
