Time: 10 am–1 pm.
The next BASK general meeting will be in-person at Albany Community Center, Main Hall. Lunch will be served after. If you are joining us for lunch, please add your name to the signup sheet so we can get an approximation of how much food to provide. BASK will be accepting suggested donations of $15 to help cover the expenses for food and drinks.
You shouldn't attend this meeting to watch the president fumble the AV presentation. You should attend because Nathan Moody and Krista Fechner will talk about "Remote-Guided Kayak Adventures in Croatia.”

Kayaking down the E coast of Cres/Mala Kolumbarica, Premantura, Istria, 2026
Led by a local kayaking expert who remained on land, Nathan and Krista traversed two stunning areas of the Adriatic sea in 2024 and 2026, visiting many gorgeous islands and the Istrian coast. Learn why paddling in Croatia is so appealing, get tips for planning your own adventures there, and find out why “full moon paddling” in Croatia refers to German tourist sightings.

N coast of Rab/Veli Rat Lighthouse from Kargita campground, Dugi Otok, 2024
Krista and Nathan were both students in the 2011 BASK Skills Clinic and have enjoyed volunteering in the Clinic to pass on kayaking skills ever since. Krista has been a key player in BASK’s website, membership system, new member outreach, and newsletter for much of that time.
In addition, we’ll have paddle and event updates. Thank you to Kristine and Tom, our speaker seekers, for doing it again!
Volunteers Needed!: And appreciated for setup and/or cleanup.
